Al-Sharptons-hair

Not that I have much to add.... but since I haven't put anything up in a million years, I thought I would prove (to myself as much as anyone else) that I have, indeed been doing stuff. Unfortunately I lost all photographs from my senior show, but yes, I did get my Fine Arts degree approved, graduated and have been living the life of an out-of-work art major with $40,000 in student debt. Big surprise there, eh? ;-) Anyway, I'll try to get more pictures of my work up on here (mostly for posterity since I've already lost all of them a couple times).... if they're on here I can't lose them, right?

yep, that's me. according to a girl in my ceramics class who is apparently miffed that I got a scholarship and she didn't. but the thing that makes it worse is that she owes me like 20 dollars, and didn't even say it to my face. so, apparently, because I've been repeating the same form in a series, and trying to improve my craftsmanship and make a 3-foot pot that is relatively light (I can carry it all by myself) ---that makes me a one-trick pony. (even though I have been making teapots and jars and mugs and bowls and whatnot) and because of that, I am not deserving of a scholarship that was AWARDED to me for ceramics. (meaning that I did not

welllll i haven't posted anything in like a year. i've been focusing more on pottery, and its a bitch to photograph and post on the internet. so maybe when i get around to taking pictures of everything, i'll post them. but who knows when that'll be, right? anyway for the time being i'm watching all you guys and lookin at your work, i'm not gone i'm just kinda inactive on here.
